100% heat detection in two month

At the Hungarian State Stud Farm we deployed 50 boluses on 3rd of February 2021.

 

All the cows are in their first lactation but the days after calving vary. Increased activity and small rises in the rumen temperature allows us to identify perfectly the oestrus (heat detection). The bolus technology is capable of measuring animal activity and creates a clear insight of the slightest change on decreased or increased activity.

 

To date 20 heats have been recorded and a 100% of them were visible in Moonsyst.
